My proposal
My Film is a horror/ thriller that will send shivers down your spine.
EXT.STREET.NIGHT
The street is deserted and dark the rain is pouring,the street looks miserable. A dark figure stands under at the corner of the road illuminated only by the light of a single lamp post. He stares off into the distance for a moment then silently crosses the road then moves towards a girl. We see two hands in leather gloves wrap around her neck.
(girl tries to scream)
EXT.THICKWOOD.NIGHT
The dark figure is then in a thick wood standing by a deep body length hole he dumps an object wrapped up and taped in a bin liner into it.
INT.FRONTROOM.DAY
Suzy, in her mid 20's, tall, brunette and athletic is in her home drinking coffee while watching the news she sits down stiffly and turns the volume up,
the main headline is about a local serial killer she turns of the t.v abruptly closes her eyes and massages her head.
INT.OFFICE.DAY.
We see a file for the serial killer case that was on the news previously on suzys desk then we see a flustered Juliana 40 year old, blonde woman walk in flustered and pester suzy to do a better job finding her daughters killer
Just as Suzy goes to usher out Juliana the phone rings suzy goes to answer it the phone call gives them about an anonomous clue at a car park.
A series of local murders have been taking place and Suzy King a young successful detective has been given the responsibility to find the psychotic serial killer.
Meanwhile Julia Presmore a stressed out mother and wife is grieving over the disappearance of her Only daughter.
One day she goes into the station and while she is there the phone rings and gives them anonymous tip as to where the murder could be, wanting to confront the villain her self Julia tags along to the location that was given.
Julia and Suzy are alone together in a car park eery shadows creep up the walls so Suzy goes to investigate.
And leaves Julia on her own moments later a mysterious figure comes out of the darkness and murders her.
We follow the figure from behind until they eventually get into a car take off their disguise and reveal them selves to be Suzy.

(tears up) "i'm just so worried"

"i know, i know well find her"
EXT.CARPARK.NIGHT
Juliana and Suzy arrive at the car park shadow a go along the wall and scurrying noises are heard.
Suzy:
"Dont worry its nothing,listen you stay here ill go investigate"
Juliana:
"NO! don't leave me!"
Suzy:
"Don't worry i'll be back"
EXT.CAR PARK/CAR(intercut).NIGHT
Suzy reassures Juliana then goes off to investigate leaving Juliana on her own. The mysterious figure from the start emerges attacks and kills Juliana (Juliana screams) then runs off. The figure gets into a car then pulls off her mask revealing her self to be Suzy.
My film should be made because the genre i have chosen is the easiest and cheapest to make. Also because my films story is easy to follow there aren't that many scenes so it would fit into the time limit given.
I chose my story because of the recent riots which have knocked trust in the authority i thought i would take advantage of the situation and try to provoke that idea.

Primary and Secondary research
Primary
One of the other things that we would like to include in our documentary for primary research is getting a small group of people and letting them have an open discussion about some of the issues raised by our documentary.
Wed like to conduct an experiment to prove some of our points myself, Heritier and Waqas will go a whole 3 days without any social networking at all everyday we will do either a report on blogger or a recording and at the end we will see how each of our social statuses have changed and do an evaluation.
Secondary
almost 20% of the world uses facebook.
We are also gonna use some of the London riot articles and how bbm helped the riots
we would also have a few bits and pieces taken out from the articles about the arab spring and all of the other political goings on that facebook has aided.
- We are going to send out a survey to around about 20 people some of the questions we are going to include is going to be:
- What do you think about social networking
- Does the younger generation rely on social networking too much?
- Does social networking have a big impact on your life?
- What are you on most?
